The Weeknd To Drop New Album ‘Dawn FM’ This Week!

The Weeknd is wasting no time at all. With 2022 officially here, it looks like Abel will be the first superstar to drop an album. This Friday (Jan 7), the crooner is expected to release a new body of work Dawn FM.
This morning (Jan 4), Abel went ahead and released quite an interesting cover art for the project. It appears to be a headshot of a much older version of The Weeknd. He almost looks worn out in some capacity. Maybe symbolism for what he expects 2022 to bring? Where he’s currently at?
Dawn FM will be the follow up to Abel’s 2020 successful album After Hours. To get us ready for Friday’s release, there’s also a trailer out for the album. It doesn’t tell us everything, but it’s clear The Weeknd took his time with this one. The album will include appearances from Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones and more.
