Welcome TEW Baltimore! DTLR + Under Armour Take Over 2024 CIAA Fan Fest

CIAA Weekend came through Baltimore city for the 3rd year in a row and what a year it was once again. For DTLR’s activation at the 2024 Fan Fest, we partnered up with our hometown friends at Under Armour for an experience unlike any other. 

With DTLR x Under Armour billboards taking over the city the week leading up to the festivities, we implemented a catch phrase that would give our attendees something to forever remember, and one that embodied the spirit of the city: WELCOME TEW BALTIMORE! Being the driving forces of culture, our footprint at CIAA was unlike any other. Taking over the Baltimore Convention Center on Friday (3/1) + Saturday (3/2), we created our very own Rec Center feel that was easily the talk of the town. We created some friendly competition amongst the crowd with an obstacle course that resulted in all ages and walks of life trying to score the fastest time. Upon completing the course, fans were able to customize their very own Welcome Tew Baltimore shirt courtesy of Under Armour. We also had our beloved 360 photo booth with the Welcome Tew Baltimore watermark that folks were anxiously lining up for. 

Our HR department was also in attendance teaching all of the guests about the various career opportunities we offer here at DTLR. They stayed busy throughout the weekend and hopefully found some future employees for us!

Leading up to CIAA Weekend, we called upon DTLR Radio’s own Fadam Got Da Juice and popular Baltimore comedian Smirf for a hilarious series about getting fresh for one of the biggest weekends of the year. These two linked up at multiple DTLR locations in the city and, with the help of our store employees, got themselves right for all the festivities.

The DTLR Radio team was in full effect with live broadcasts both days, several interviews, a full DJ lineup from start to finish, meet & greets, panel discussions and more. We also partnered with our friends at 92Q who was broadcasting live with hosts Persia Nicole, Incognito and more. Per usual, our special guests were aplenty. We had the likes of: Desi Banks, DJ Self, Eric Bellinger, 310Babii, Ashley Silva + Winter Harris, T Savage, Lana Rae, Lil Pakman and more. We also had some hometown Baltimore influencers in the building including Ayo Shag, Bunkey Jr., RunItUp Jordan, TSU Terry, and many others. 

Among all the excitement at Fan Fest, it’s safe to say DTLR’s presence was tremendously felt once again. Check out all of our interviews below!
