Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem Return with New Single + Video ‘Family Ties’

Kendrick Lamar is back and better than ever. Today, him and his protege Baby Keem unleash a fiery new single titled “Family Ties” out now.

K. Dot’s been in the news a lot this week. He sent out a message via social media announcing his departure from TDE after this final album.

Here’s what he wrote:

“I spend most of my days with fleeting thoughts. Writing. Listening. And collecting old Beach cruisers. The morning rides keep me on a hill of silence,” his message began. “I go months without a phone. “Love, loss, and grief have disturbed my comfort zone, but the glimmers of God speak through my music and family. As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood,” he wrote. “May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling. There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I’ve prayed for you all,” he concluded. “See you soon enough.”

Soon after, it was announced that this new track “Family Ties” would be coming with Kendrick and Keem. This track is released under Kendrick’s new label PGLang as well. Let the festivities begin.
