Angel Reese Gets Her Very Own Meal at McDonald’s; Becomes First Female Athlete To Do So

Angel Reese continues to soar. The WNBA star has officially teamed up with McDonald’s to get her very own special meal! This makes Angel the first ever female athlete McDonald’s has partnered with in this capacity.
“It’s really a dream come true to be the first-ever female athlete to have my own meal and be a part of McDonald’s amazing basketball legacy,” Angel says in a press release. “I hope the Angel Reese Special inspires young athletes everywhere to never give up on pursuing their dreams.”
The Angel Reese Special will include a BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese topped with a brand new BBQ sauce, plus French fries and a drink. Over the years we’ve seen a ton of artists and athletes get their own limited time meals at McDonald’s. This includes the likes of Michael Jordan, Travis Scott, Saweetie, BTS and more.
“We want to continue to fuel their love for the game and support athletes on and off the court,” Jennifer “JJ” Healan, vice president of marketing, brand, content and culture at McDonald’s, said. “We’re excited to bring our legacy with basketball culture to a new generation, and partnering with Angel is only the beginning.”
