Drake Cryptically Announces Release Date for ‘Certified Lover Boy’

Drake has officially confirmed the release date for Certified Lover Boy. Taking to IG this morning (Aug 30), Drake posted a picture of 12 of the pregnant women emojis along with the caption “CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3”. Is he alluding to this being a 12-track project? I’m sure we’ll get more info the next few days before Friday’s release. Who’s ready for CLB?

Drake appears to be ready to strike. Today, he took the promo/marketing to the next level and announced the release date for Certified Lover Boy in quite a way.
During Sportscenter this morning (Aug 27), the OVO general cryptically announced the date via a commercial. Starting with a quick montage of sports highlights, towards the end we simply see “CLB September 3”. While Drake hasn’t officially confirmed this release date elsewhere, I think it’s safe to say this is a legit announcement. Otherwise, someone else using the CLB acronym has some explaining to do.
