Event Recap | A Culinary Experience With Live Art Exhibits And Music #Artaste

Written by on April 28, 2022

Artaste, an experience that we have been creating for the past six (6) years. This past Sunday was one of the best of the series with a live painting exhibit by Aaron Maybin, culinary creations and live music sets that included Dj Fomo, DJ P Drama, Mr Incredible and myself (Tiara LaNiece).

Fashion is also apart of the visual display when bringing all of thee above elements together. A Different Regard always introduces ways for us to express ourselves through style that includes different fabrics and patterns. DTLR has been a sponsor since its inception adding a splash of streetwear and sneaker culture to the ambience. The beauty part about all of this that the overall agenda of this event is to giveback to the community through a cultural event.

The Grow Program is the root and foundation to what we call “Artaste“. This program was created to support the youth of Baltimore City. As we know the youth of Baltimore face many challenges due to being poverty stricken, which causes issues in our legal system when it comes to the overall crime rate.

Putting our men in position to be mentors (“narrative changers”) with access to resources and opportunities empowers them. With this empowerment we can be the backbone of the community. In our mentoring program we build strong connections with youth by genuinely caring about them and giving them better options in life.

Here’s a small recap to sum up the vibe of what we created and plan to take across the world, not only to party but to include other cultures and art types. Please visit ARTASTE to stay up to date with “The Grow Program“, “A Different Regard” and DTLR and their next collaboration.
