The pandemic has caused us to go virtual with more than just 9-5 “stay at home” work but also genuine interviews between personalities and artist. During this time we still plan to bridge the gap between artist and their supporters. Artist have still managed to create, sell and perform new music by utilizing these avenues.
This weekend, I was able to connect with Dancehall artist Shenseea to talk about her journey, music and family life. While talking to her I found out a lot of amazing things about her collaborations. The process behind her ground breaking “BET Reggae Cypher” performance via Zoom. She also discussed working with Beenie Man, Major Lazer, Russian and Tarrus Riley on her upcoming album. We spoke about her child and how she plans to groom him in community outreach.
