50 Cent & Kenya Barris Team Up For Netflix Series ‘The 50th Law’

50 Cent might not be at the top of the music charts these days, but the mogul hasn’t slowed down one bit. Reported by Deadline, 50 and Kenya Barris (Black-ish) are teaming up for a new Netflix series based off of 50’s popular book The 50th Law.

The script will be written by Barris and Hale Rothstein, who worked together on the Netflix comedy special blackAF. Those two will then executive produce the series together assuming Netflix decides to pick it up (I’m willing to bet they will!)

According to Deadline, “The 50th Law is a semi-autobiographical account detailing 50 Cent’s rise as both a young urban hustler and as an up-and-coming musician with lessons and anecdotes from historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Sun Tzu, Socrates, Napoleon, Malcolm X and James Baldwin.”
