Kanye West Raises $1 Million for DMX’s Family Through Balenciaga Shirt Sales

It looks like the Balenciaga shirts Kanye West and Yeezy commissioned for the late DMX turned out quite a big profit.
According to TMZ, the custom DMX T-shirt designed by Balenciaga, which was commissioned by the Yeezy brand and put up for sale Saturday (4/24) as X’s memorial got underway, generated around $1 million.
The shirts we’re going for $200 a pop and sold out in just 24 hours. Ye also contributed to X’s memorial by designing the stage where his Sunday Service choir performed during the tribute. TMZ also says Kanye was in attendance, but maintained a low profile. Solid work by Mr. West for this one.
Continue to rest in peace, X. We miss you!
