It still doesn’t feel real that DMX is gone. Thankfully, his team is doing everything they can to make sure his legacy lives forever.
Announced earlier this week, X’s first posthumous album titled Exodus is set to officially drop on May 28th. Here’s what Swizz said about the upcoming project:
“My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met,” Swizz said in a statement. “He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”
The album will be released via Ruff Ryders and Def Jam Recordings, the home of his most successful recordings, with whom he signed a new deal in 2019.
Stay tuned for more details surrounding the upcoming Exodus album. Long Live DMX!
