It’s been a rough going for NBA YoungBoy as of late. Yesterday (3/22), TMZ reported that the young star has been arrested and is in FBI custody. The rapper reportedly fled the scene after being pulled over by LAPD cops and was eventually tracked down by a K-9 unit.
According to the outlet, LAPD and the feds attempted to pull over a vehicle that YoungBoy was in due to an outstanding federal warrant. After a short pursuit, YoungBoy allegedly hopped out of the vehicle and began to take off on foot. Eventually he was caught and brought in to FBI custody.
A firearm was allegedly found in the vehicle, however it’s unclear at the moment who the gun belonged to. Nonetheless, the popular rapper is currently in custody as we wait to hear more about the situation.
YoungBoy’s team has currently not made any comments, however we expect that to change sooner than later.
Just last week, we reported that YB had apparently stood up J. Cole during a studio session where Cole waited a good 8 hours for the rapper to show up. Read more about that situation here.
We’ll keep you updated on YoungBoy’s current situation.
