Nicki Minaj Earns First Ever Solo Number 1 with ‘Super Freaky Girl’

When it comes to Billboard stats and accolades, Nicki Minaj is one of the most decorated artists of all time. Well, the last major thing to accomplish on her Billboard Hot 100 journey was to get herself a solo number 1 record. Looks like the wait is officially over as Nicki’s latest single “Super Freaky Girl” debuts at number 1 on the Hot 100 this week.
Nicki’s the first solo female rapper to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since Lauryn Hill in 1998. She’s also the first female rapper to land multiple # 1’s. It’s a major win for Nicki and Republic… let’s see where she takes it from here.
