We start off #BlackHistoryMonth with a speech from Yara Shahidi and her speech from “Black Girls Rock” in 2017. I love the way she broke it down and spoke from her experience to explain where she’s coming from when it comes to her challenging career. So, I thought out the things we go through as a people and I wanted to set my sights on the fact we need to hear these overlooked moments.
