Watch: Jay-Z Officially Inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Written by Jay Holz on November 1, 2021
Jay-Z made history this weekend as the legendary rapper, mogul, entrepreneur was officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This was his first year of eligibility as well.
The introduction alone was a moment in time. The heartfelt and emotional video featured appearances from Beyonce, LeBron James, Sean Combs, Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson. Following the intro video, we saw a pre-recorded message from President Barack Obama as well as Dave Chappelle.
The speech itself is far too amazing to break down, but let’s just say Hov touched on every important aspect. He even took a moment to show love and appreciation to former business partner Dame Dash, who he’s not exactly the closest with currently. That said, the history they made together helped Jay get to where he’s at.
We have the full speech below courtesy of HHNM. Check it out. Congrats to Jay-Z on making it to the Hall of Fame!
